The videos work perfectly for content marketing for three reasons:

Some demographics of users like to watch videos;

  • Videos open more marketing channels (Youtube, Vimeo, etc.)
  • The videos are very engaging: people like to share videos
  • Social media networks give your update an organic boost when there is a native video.
  • Videos get your message across much more effectively than text
  • Your customers expect to find you on Youtube

Today, the time when video content was so difficult to create that most people feared is over. The videos are obvious now. As for video tutorials and mashups, I simply use iMovie (free time saving). However, in many cases, you do not even need desktop software.

There are great online tools that allow you to create professional videos that will diversify your video marketing and allow you to experiment with genres, styles, and types. The first one that comes to mind is, of course, Youtube Hangouts on Air.

But it’s not the only one!

The following four tools are all freemium, so you will be able to play for free first:

1. Animoto

Animoto is a huge time saver! Grab your screenshots and videos, choose (or upload your own music), add text jumps – you’re done! A new video is ready to be distributed.

  • I like to use it for the screenshot window (for tutorials) and to summarize the discussions, hangouts, etc.
  • The cheapest package allows you to create custom videos with the Animoto logo at the end.
  • The animation was the first tool I used to create videos and rearrange content. She is therefore at the top of my list.

2. Powtoon

Powtoon is a freemium tool for creating animated presentations and video instructions. The best thing about this tool is that it allows you to create video instructions that grab attention and have huge viral potential as opposed to traditional step-by-step video guides.

He has many models with different mascots:

There are many elements available in characters, animations, text effects, image carriers, etc. The free version will keep its watermark on the final version.

Powtoon is great for creating concept explanations, fun tutorials, and even promotional videos.

The PRO package gives you 2GB of storage. There are higher level plans available if you need more.

3. Wave.video

Wave.video by Animation, one of my favorite recent tools, is one of the simplest and most user-friendly interfaces. It claims to have 200 million video clips, allows you to import your own resources and instantly resize your projects and ads to over 30 popular formats to fit your favorite social media platform. You can mix and match stock content with your own media and add beautiful transitions between clips.

The PRO package allows you to create videos up to 5 minutes long (which is sufficient in most cases). If you need to create longer videos, you will need to select a more expensive package.

4. Biteable

Biteable is a new tool that allows you to easily create all kinds of videos, such as advertisements, explanatory, presentations, and content on social networks. They offer a solid collection of templates, backgrounds, and music that allows you to create original videos “in minutes”. You can also upload your own images to personalize the look and add your own brand.
